Bombarded....

....by a zillion requests for "Giving Tuesday."  Yet another holiday that isn't really a holiday; just a way to make you feel really guilty that you can't spend as much as you want on all the things that are important to you.  So I'm a deer in the headlights, seized by which organization do I give to when so many people I know are publicly raising funds on Facebook....and everyone knows who gave what to whom.  I can't handle the pressure!  And I've already given money to organizations of my choice!  Because for people's birthdays now, publicly on Facebook, they're asking for donations to their favorite charities.  All of this giving is AWESOME! and if I were Bill and Melinda Gates, I'd give to every single one of them.  As it is, I guess I've already picked and chosen and given....and then, of course, there's all those Salvation Army buckets that I walk past and feel guilty that I'm not putting money in them every time....kindness and charity are wonderful things, but somewhere you have to draw the line, right?  Like when it comes to either donating or paying your rent....sigh....if I win the lottery, look out!  Everybody gets a piece!
