....this past Saturday! Yep, I directed my feet to 42nd Street...and Broadway....and Central Park...and Carnegie Hall (we didn't get there by practice. We got there by feet)....and Saks Fifth Avenue...and St. Patrick's Cathedral...and Madison Square Garden....me, along with my friend and about 4 million other folks. Got an opportunity to take a business trip to Newark (and we were swallowed whole by the Newark Airport! Oh, lordy lord, but that's all the circles of hell that go absolutely nowhere! We can see the airport exit but can't get to it! There's our hotel but you can't get to it! Lots of wasted time driving in circles around Newark Liberty Airport! Oy! Thank goodness we both have a sense of humor! And how ironic it is that "liberty" is in its name because we could not get liberated from the crazy circles of highway!) It was a whirlwind trip to NYC on Saturday from Penn Station to Penn Station. Boy, NYC during the Christmas season is a madhouse! And Saturday night -- fuggadaboudit! Literally a wall of people! We had the best time :-) I'd do it again in a heartbeat. We walked all over -- all over! -- Manhattan and had a blast :-) Here's one of my favorite pictures of the day. I call it: Dusk in Central Park with Snowman.
