An Amazing Day....

...at the One Of A Kind Show with my BFF at the Merchandise Mart!  It's our yearly sojourn to play hooky and wander around miles and miles of the 6th floor of the Mart, ooohing and ahhhing over fabulous works of art by incredible artists from all over the world.  Our pockets may be somewhat shallow but our hearts and eyes are huge when it comes to appreciating beautiful things.  Last year, the pandemic made it impossible for everyone to participate.  We were so excited to get to go back, as were all the artists, who had an energy that was palpable for being able to be back at the Mart, proudly displaying their wares and welcoming an appreciative crowd.  A marvelous day.  And when we left, the sun was just going down and made this beautiful picture over the river.
