An amazing evening....

....the heartfelt, joyous, funny, painful, loving, glorious, soaring tribute to our dearly departed Russ Tutterow, Chicago Dramatists Artistic Director and soul for 35+ years, last night at The Goodman Theatre.  Friends and artistic family from far and wide came to pay tribute and reflect and remember and hug and drink and share a brilliant night, put together with grace and love by Roger Rueff.  I'm sure Russ is very honored and proud.  I got to see fellow artists that I haven't seen in years and years, and as things go in our business, the years made no difference and it felt like we had all just had coffee yesterday.  Look what you did, Russ.....thank you, my friend.
