Breaking News....

....those two words send shivers up my spine because breaking news is never good.  It means shootings or kidnappings or the latest worst thing from the orange fu*kwad or tsunamis or hurricanes or car crashes or terrorist attacks or wildfires or explosions....it means my senses go to high alert and my breathing gets shallow and my stomach clenches and I brace myself for the worst.  So for the next several days, I'm taking a break from breaking news and am going to give my soul a rest from the unrest of the goings on of this off-kilter world and seek shelter in beauty and peace.  Yep, going into ostrich mode for a few days because I can't take another breaking news story right now.  I hope wherever you are, whatever you're doing, you're finding beauty and love and that which makes your soul sing.

Hmmmm.....maybe I'll practice my ukulele! :-)
