Closing Day....

....for The Birds.  Gee, I can hardly believe how quickly this has all come and gone!  The cool thing is that we're all still making discoveries and trying new things and enjoying the heck out of each performance.  Small houses the last couple of nights due to the Cubs being in the World Series and all (you heard about that, right? ;-), but the folks who have been there clearly really wanted to have been there and the audiences couldn't have been nicer or more supportive. Yeah, there's no denying I'm going to miss this....luckily, after a week off, I'll be going into the 28-Hour Workshop at Chicago Dramatists, working on a new play by the wonderful John Green, directed by the amazing Steve Scott, so that's a relief that when the show stops, I'm not just pining.  Feeling grateful and happy and excited about today and what the future brings.

Oh, and GO CUBS!  Really, they do need to go or it's closing day for them too....
