Jacinda Ardern....

...New Zealand's Prime Minister, ROCKS.  Six days -- SIX DAYS -- after the inconceivable  massacre in Christchurch, she bans -- BANS! -- military-style semiautomatic guns, all high-capacity ammunition magazines, and all parts that allow guns to be modified into the kind of guns that killed 50 people at the two mosques!  Six days!!!!  Brava to her and to New Zealand for saying this must happen because we won't allow our people to be slaughtered by ridiculous weapons that no civilian needs.  Six days...it must give us pause and sit up and find our voices and say WE CAN AND MUST DO THAT!!!!  She took decided and immediate action to make her country safer.  Because she puts the people who live in her country above money and greed.  Let her wisdom be a lesson to our bought leaders here in the United States:  We, the people, are more important than the money in your pockets supplied by the NRA or any other lobbyists for weapons of mass destruction.  We have the ability to do the same thing as PM Ardern.  She is a shining example of leadership and love and concern and decisiveness and governing.  Peace be with you, New Zealand.  Love reign o'er you.

And I can't let today go without saying HAPPY SPRING!!!!!  At 4:58 p.m. yesterday, we officially turned the winter corner.  Now we'll see if the weather cooperates :-)  I hope you're finding spring in your step, spring in your heart, and new exciting beginnings popping up in your world.  Love reign o'er you too.
