...over the weekend. We took a wonderful walk through lovely Linne Woods. Not much happening in the spring category of the woodland scene. A lot of flotsam and jetsam from leaves and branches and flooding for spring flowers to be punching their way up, but oh, what glorious weather on a sunny Sunday! Fewer folks out than we would have thought, but it was terrific to have the woods to ourselves. I was reading about this area later, and incredibly, it was a dump site! The community has totally made it a beautiful forest preserve and have been restoring prairie on what was wasteland. Thank you, Morton Grovers, for finding the beauty! We had such a fabulous time. I always find it so much easier to b-r-e-a-t-h-e when I'm strolling in nature away from the city sounds. Glorious!
