...on this monsoon-ish grey-ish cold-ish morning. Amazing thunderstorms rolled through earlier, causing Rusty to seek shelter in my armpit (it was in the wee hours), poor little guy. The things you wish you could explain to your pets....sigh. All is well now. I think we're in between storms. He's curled up by my pillow, snoozing away.
Great weekend behind me. Had rehearsal all day Saturday for scenes and short plays by a playwriting class that were so much fun to work on with directors that I had never worked with. It was a true joy to meet them and play and to get the opportunity to work with these three vastly different playwrights, all so open and excited about the rehearsals. And I had an audition yesterday and was welcomed so warmly and got such great responses to my monologues (it's always so nice when they laugh at stuff they're supposed to laugh at :-) Took a beautiful walk yesterday around Wilmette, oooohing and aaaahing at all the gorgeous spring blooms and discussing the merits of this or that architecture. Talked to my mommy on Mommy's Day, though really, every day is Mommy's and Daddy's and Sister's and Aunt's and Grandparents', etc. day, isn't it?
I hope you had a completely lovely weekend and that your week is starting off on a sublime note and just gets better and better!
Pictured below are bubbles from the Billion Bubbles Animals bubble maker that my dear, dear friend gifted me for my birthday. We had a blast! According to the package, "Up to 300 bubble in 1 minutes!" (Yep, it says that, "1 minutes!")
