....started last week, a Level I on-camera class, and I'm LOVING it. Just have had one thus far, but it was truly wonderful. You forget about the basic basics sometimes. It's always good to be reminded of them. I was thinking about my first time on camera versus now and how uncomfortable and unfamiliar I was versus now. I've come a long way, baby, but still have a ways to go. I study commercials and TV and films and voice over and there's so much to learn from all of the working actors out there. I don't always agree with a read or the choices (especially when I hear or see something I auditioned for and didn't get -- and then try not to look at it while eating sour grapes :-), but in the end, it's not up to the actor. It's the client, the director, the editor. We're just a small cog in the whole ensemble of the machine. But each piece is critical and we're all in it together. That's life, isn't it? We're all in this together.
I hope your day is as beautiful as you are.
