Oh, My, December....

....has come upon us!  Already?!  Wasn't it just New Year's Eve?!  So December came in on little cat feet at temperatures in the 50s and sunny and beautiful (nope, no such thing as global warming :-/  We're so spoiled that when the true December temperatures come around this week, people are going to bitch and moan about it.  This Midwestern girl thinks that winter should be cold, so these weird warmths are a little disturbing.

I had a wonderful weekend.  It felt like the first time in a couple of weeks I haven't been working and could actually breathe a little bit.  We took a beautiful hike along the north branch of the Chicago River.  It's so nice to be able to get out and about and breathe in the beauty of nature and not hear traffic for a bit.  I hope your December is treating you well so far :-)
