.....ahhhhh.....started a Vinyasa yoga class a couple of weeks ago and it's just....just what I was hoping for. I've tried yoga classes in the past, but I didn't really like them or relate to them. It feels like I found the right one for my wants and I'm so thrilled (sore, but thrilled :-) I love the breathing, the movement, the peace, the energy, the way my body feels moving through the different positions. It's funny -- though I'm very flexible and stretch all the time, using my body this way is much more challenging than I anticipated and it's wonderful. Balance is very important to me and I practice balance exercises at home, but I'm really finding the ways that yoga moves and stretches and balances is a great contrast to how I use my body and it's so exciting to me to be teaching my muscles new things. Just wanted to share in case you're thinking of taking a class or trying something new and something's holding you back. Do it! You'll be so happy you did :-) Namaste.
