Random Stuff....

....kind of stream of consciousness meanderings this morning....like, oh, nuclear war?!  WTF?; world leaders who shouldn't be leading the world; Guam being used as a pawn; trying to keep fear at bay just to get out of bed in the morning in this powder-keg world we're living in so I'm damming that stream here; softball season ending on Wednesday and me stepping up to the plate, bottom of the 7th (we only play 7) with two outs and actually getting on base and not making the last out of the season; Rusty running around like a Dervish, loving these cooler mornings; coffee with chocolate and vanilla almond milk and cinnamon; katydids making their late summer appearance with their amazing popping calls; portobello mushrooms with goat cheese and roasted red peppers and pesto; good friends getting engaged to be married; a lovely friend being hired by Disney because he's such a good fellow and so incredibly talented at what he does; falling in love; Retro on Roscoe, my neighborhood street festival, that mucks up traffic and brings loud people to the 'hood; BFF's youngest son going to college this year and how happy we are for him and how much we'll miss him; time moving so fast it's hard to keep up with it.....how about you?  Where is your mind meandering to today?  Hopefully good thoughts of kind people doing great deeds....
