Saying Goodbye....

....to a long-time dear friend last night at a bon voyage party several of us threw for him and thinking today about how much I'll miss having him around.  Here's an actor who I've had the pleasure of working with countless times over the years.  He's played my husband, my lover, my brother, my father, my friend...and we've laughed and cried and talked and argued and created and mused and had so much fun together over so many years.  I was thrilled that so many folks came last night to give him a hug and love on him a bit before he embarks on his next journey.  You never know what path your life is going to take, no matter how much planning and strategizing and dreaming....all you can do is enjoy the journey, control what you can, and embrace what's next....

I hope whatever journey you're on today is filled with wonder and hope and happiness and all things you could possibly wish for yourself.
