....what a blast! Masters Scene Study class has begun and Ann Filmer was the first of the eight directors coming into class to coach and direct scenes. I've known Ann for so long and seen so much of her work but haven't yet had the chance to work with her. Watching her in her element with the actors and the scenes was incredibly inspiring. She really brought out the strengths of each actor and cut to the chase as far as what the scene was about. She treated everyone with such respect and her enthusiasm for the work was tangible. What a wonderful way to start a new class! As is my frame of mind these days, I continue to feel lucky, lucky, lucky :-)
