Some Like It Hot....

...I, however, do not :-(  It's been toasty here for the last several days and I feel like an overcooked noodle.  I can't even imagine what my trusty Rusty must feel like inside all of that fur.  Yeah, I know it provides insulation in both winter and summer, but the poor little guy must be hot as you-know-what.  So I guess I should keep my trap shut and not complain about it!

Great weekend here, spent with groups of different friends doing all different things:  Midsommarfest in Andersonville, pizza in Evanston, farmer's market in Independence Park.  A full and lovely time spent with wonderful folks.  I do have to say that I think it's cruel to bring dogs to a street festival.  Too many people feet to trample the poor critters and the pavement must be hot beneath their paws and they must eat a lot of stuff that they shouldn't because no one's paying any attention.  I wish people would think more about the well-being of their pets and less about themselves....

I hope whatever you're doing today brings you great joy, that your paws aren't hot and that whatever you're eating is healthy and delicious :-)  This is how Rusty is choosing to spend his day.  I can hardly blame him!
