Summer Softball...

....doesn't get any better than the Chicago Theater League along the lakefront.  Last night, we played in wind, some rain, bright sunshine, amazing clouds....a little bit of everything for everyone.  My teammates ROCK.  Really...such good people, so much fun to play with and laugh with and hang out with on the fields and off.  I must say, I feel so fortunate to have gotten involved in this league oh-so-many years ago, purely by chance.  We've picked up some terrific new younger players who are as into the game as we are and they bring such a great energy to our team.  I love these guys!  Yeah, I know this is a common topic for me, but really, it's been a part of my life for so long that I love to share :-)

Here's a picture of last night's all-weather sky.  A gorgeous, though kind of scary, evening.  We all discussed that lightning would hit the crane before it would ever think of hitting us :-/
