Thinking About....

....the kids going back to school today in Parkland and how difficult that must be for everyone -- the kids, their parents, the teachers, the community....my heart goes out to those brave souls and I wish them peace in their collective and individual grief.  I can't imagine....

....the news that Dick's won't be selling assault-type rifles, sell guns to anyone under 21, and won't carry high-capacity magazines.  It's about time!  Maybe they'll be a leader of the movement on the retail side....

....Russia meddling, the complete mess that our government is...don't want to go there this morning....

....signs of spring!!!  Took a walk on Sunday and saw so many trees getting ready to do their spring thing.  Yesterday on my race walk, I saw the first spring flowers I've seen -- Snowdrops!  They're so beautiful and delicate and aptly named....

....love and family and friends and pets and hope and passions and dreams and keeping fear at bay in this crazy world we're finding ourselves in....

....the two audiobooks I'm currently working on.  Wildly different subjects -- a book on John James Audubon and an erotica short story.  How fun to be able to stretch myself in ways that I want to stretch....
